Who we are

This website, orbitxinfotech.com, is operated by OrbitX Infotech Private Limited, a company registered in India (Corporate Identity Number U62091MR2026PTC479439). We decide how the personal information described here is used, and we are responsible for it.

What we collect

Only what you choose to send through the contact form, and the technical details that come with it:

your name, company and email address, so we know who we are speaking to and can reply;
your phone number and role, if you choose to give them;
what you tell us about your operation, so we can answer usefully;
the date and time of the submission, your IP address and your browser type, kept to protect the form from automated abuse.

Our hosting provider also keeps standard server logs of visits to the site, which include IP addresses, for security and operation.

What we do not do

This site uses no analytics, advertising or tracking services, and loads nothing from third parties: fonts, scripts and images are all served from our own domain. It sets no cookies. If you choose a light or dark theme, that choice is stored in your own browser and never sent to us.

Why we use it

To respond to your enquiry and, if a conversation follows, to carry it forward. Where the EU or UK GDPR applies, the legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to someone who has contacted us, and taking steps at your request before any contract. Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, it is the purpose for which you provided the information, with your agreement on the form.

We will not send you marketing you did not ask for. If we ever want to, we will ask first.

Our own team, and the providers that run this website and our email: our website hosting provider and our business email provider, Microsoft 365. They process it on our instructions and for no other purpose. They may process it outside the country you are in, under their own data protection terms. We do not sell or rent personal information to anyone.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to a working relationship are deleted within 24 months. As a safeguard against lost email, the website keeps a private copy of each enquiry on our web server, outside the public site, which is deleted on the same schedule. Where a client relationship begins, we keep what the relationship and our legal obligations require, and no longer.

Your rights

You can ask us to tell you what we hold about you, to correct or delete it, or to stop using it. Email info@orbitxinfotech.com and we will act on your request within the period the applicable law allows. There is no charge.

If you are in India, these rights arise under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, which also lets you nominate someone to exercise them for you, and lets you complain to the Data Protection Board of India if we do not resolve a grievance. If you are in the UK or the European Economic Area, they arise under the UK GDPR or the EU GDPR, and you may also complain to your national data protection authority.

Changes

If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
